Oakland’s La Dee Da has been rocking the East Bay indie scene for near on ten years and their dreamy, unique musical personality shows it. Under Weather is the band’s third release, an album that moves away from La Dee Da’s acoustic, orchestral roots into a sister universe with more reverb and pop sensibility. Silky vocals, vintage Wurlitzer piano and Rosie Steffy's whimsical lyrics are the main ingredients. Aaron Handler (bass) and Daniel Fleischer (drums) add nuanced grooves in a recipe that's equal parts jazz, prog & pop.
